The InterCaribbean Male Netball Premiership is scheduled to be held from February 23rd to March 16th, 2025 in Jamaica. Two netballers – Zeon Hector and Tchaikovski York, will be representing St Kitts and Nevis at the tournament.
The best netballers from across the Caribbean, including Jamaica, St Kitts and Nevis, St Vincent & the Grenadines, and Trinidad & Tobago, will be featured in the InterCaribbean Male Netball Premiership.
Minister Samal Duggins congratulates and appreciates the two players
Minister of Sports and Creative economy, Samal Duggins, congratulated both Zeon Hector and Tchaikovski York for their selection at the InterCaribbean Male Netball Premiership.
He said that this tournament is a great opportunity for them to show their talent and also appreciated them for their outstanding performances in their previous matches.
Minister Duggins further added that the two players are both from Study It ACES Netball Team and have been continuously showcasing their talent and dedication in the netball arena.
He also said that this championship will play a crucial role in making history for St Kitts and Nevis netball sector.
Zeon Hector and Tchaikovski York receives recognition
Zeon Hector and Tchaikovski York received great recognition during the Americas Male Netball Tournament, which was held in St Kitts and Nevis in September 2024.
Zeon Hector was announced as the Overall Most Valuable Player for the St Kitts and Nevis Male Netball Team, and Tchaikovski York was honored with the Most Accurate Shooter award.
InterCaribbean Male Netball Premiership
The InterCaribbean Male Netball Premiership is a seven on-court players per team sport, which is played across the Caribbean states. The players are required to shoot the ball through the defender’s goal ring while defending their own.
