Odyssey of the Seas made its first inaugural call of 2025 in St Kitts and Nevis on Saturday, January 11, 2025 and is proudly welcomed by the St Kitts Tourism Authority.

This moment underscores St Kitts’ growing reputation as a premier Caribbean cruise destination and its commitment of providing world-class experience for all the visitors while supporting sustainable tourism growth.

The Odyssey of the Seas brought 4,198 passengers along with 1,550 crew members, and catered to families, adventure seekers, and relaxation enthusiasts.

Passengers onboard enjoyed great entertainment, exquisite dining, and thrilling activities like the FlowRider surf simulator, rock-climbing wall, bumper cars, virtual reality games, and the SkyPad trampoline.

The passengers were brought to St Kitts’ Port Zante, leaving the streets of Basseterre crowded and bustling with activities.

The inaugural of Odyssey of the Seas was celebrated with tourism stakeholders, local officials, and representatives from Royal Caribbean gathering at Port Zante with a customary plaque exchange ceremony, commemorating Odyssey of the Seas’ first visit.

Moreover, the Minister of Tourism, Marsha Henderson said that the arrival of Odyssey of the Seas this year marks the beginning of a dynamic partnership, benefitting both the local and global communities and cruise industry.

Passengers experience in St Kitts and Nevis

Passengers arriving in St Kitts and Nevis embarked on a journey to explore the island’s beautiful landscapes, filled with rich culture, history, and heritage.

They visited historical landmarks like the UNESCO World Heritage Site Brimstone Hill Fortress, and the scenic St Kitts Scenic Railway which once delivered sugar canes to sugar mills.

The influx of passengers also helped boost tourism and local businesses like taxi services, street vendors, helping the nation’s economy to grow.
