St Kitts and Nevis: Prime Minister Dr Terrance Drew extended his wishes to the Development Bank St Kitts and Nevis (DBSKN) St Peter’s FC, for their final football match against SL Horsford St Pauls UTD.
PM Drew took out time and hosted an online Zoom Meeting to extend the wishes and speak with the players of the DBSKN St Peters’ FC, as he is on a personal vacation leave from August 7th to 21st, 2024. The significant meeting was held on August 12, 2024 in the afternoon.
Prime Minister Terrance Drew appealed to all those who are able to attend and are going to the game to show their full support and enthusiasm.
He encouraged all the players of the team to give their best on and off the field, and to play with all their heart. He also told them to play keeping the winning spirit in mind.
PM Dr Drew also announced a partnership of the Development Bank St Kitts and Nevis with St Peter’s Football Club, back in March 2024. He expressed his delight on the collaboration and stated that it will foster the sports section in St Kitts and Nevis.

Being the Parliamentary Representative of the St Peter’s area, Dr Terrance Drew highlighted the partnership’s significance and stated that it is a part of a strategy that aims to enhance the sports and games sector in the Federation.
While he addressed the public, he mostly emphasised the importance of the community involvement, youth empowerment, and sports development. He added that sports, especially football, plays a crucial role in achieving their objectives.
Notably, as the Prime Minister has proceeded on a scheduled vacation leave, the duties and responsibilities has been given to the Deputy Prime Minister Dr Geoffrey Hanley for the next two weeks.
