Basseterre, St. Kitts and Nevis: Curdel Crooke achieved a milestone on being selected for the Leeward Island U19 Cricket team. Being a dedicated player, Crooke has brought laurels to the country with his phenomenal performances.
Sharing about the information, the Minister of Sports- Samal Duggins has reached out to his social media handle (Facebook) to congratulated the bowler for his selection. He said that Crooke has achieved such heights due to his continuous hard work and talent and wished him luck for his future.
“Congratulations to Curdel Crooke on his incredible achievement of being selected for the Leeward Island U19 Cricket Team! This is a testament to your hard work, dedication, and talent on the cricket field. Your future looks exceptionally bright, and we can’t wait to see all the great things you will accomplish in the cricket world. Keep shining and making us proud,” added Minister Duggins.
He was also joined by Dr Denzil Douglas, who is serving as the Minister of Foreign Affairs in St. Kitts and Nevis. According to him, Curtis Crooke – a father of wonderful bowler Curdel Crooke was his number one supporter throughout his career.
In his Facebook post, he wrote, “Extending Congratulations to Curdel Crooke, who has been selected to play with the Leewards Cricket Board under 19 Team. Curdel is the son of Curtis Crooke, who continues to be his number one supporter and cheer leader. It’s a reminder, that our children can do extraordinary things with the support of parents and the community.”
The Kittitian player was the only bowler, who has claimed five-wicket haul against St Maarten. The people across the nation expressed their pride for this exceptional achievement of Crooke through their comments on Facebook. Some of the comments read as,

Another FB user, by the name of Jomo Pemberton quoted, “Congratulations my youth so proud of you don’t you ever look back stay focus stay shining star I can your dad with that smile.”
