St Kitts and Nevis: Prime Minister Dr Terrance Drew announced the collaboration between Development Bank of St Kitts and Nevis and St Peters Football Club on Monday.
He expressed pleasure and said that the partnership is significant as it will foster the sports sector in St Kitts and Nevis. While providing resources to the club, the bank would also assist young athletes with new opportunities.
The Development Bank’s collaboration with the St Peters Football Club will provide essential support and vital resources to the club, further enhancing its development.
The resources provided will enable the club to boost talent, promote mentorship and create opportunities for young athletes.
Prime Minister Dr Drew said that the bank will be a true beacon of development for the football club, aiming to give communities the opportunity to engage in sports and provide the resources necessary.
The development bank has constantly supported the development of sports and community enhancement activities.
As per the prime minister, the Bank has diligently carried out its duties and responsibilities in fostering and promoting sports talent among youngsters. The community has a set of standards and has built truly remarkable excellence.
The bank has promised to take a comprehensive approach to promoting sports, which goes beyond mere sponsorship. It comprises of genuine investment in aspirations, gives hope to athletes and fosters communities.

Its commitment extends beyond mere sponsorship; it embodies a genuine investment in the aspirations and dreams of our athletes and communities alike.”
In a ceremony held on Thursday evening, the bank presented the club with EC$30,000 to assist all divisions within the club.
Dr Terrance Drew, the Parliamentary Representative for the St Peters area, announced that the partnership forms part of a comprehensive strategy to promote communities across the federation.
