The prime minister of St Kitts and Nevis, Dr Terrance Drew, took to his social media account to share some glimpses from the celebration event hosted in honour of the 40th anniversary of the relationship with Taiwan. St Kitts and Nevis are celebrating forty years of independence from the British colonization. Prime minister Dr Terrace drew, and the members of his cabinet celebrated the relationship between the two nations.
Taiwan established diplomatic relations with St Kitts and Nevis in 1983. The country has remained a steadfast partner to the Caribbean nation for the last four decades. They have assisted the country in several developmental avenues, including the healthcare, education, and agriculture sectors. The embassy of Taiwan facilitates several grants and aids to the government to support developmental initiatives.

The Ambassador of Taiwan, Michael Lin, attended this edition of the SKN Moves initiative to honour and celebrate the diplomatic ties between the two nations.

Other members of the SKN Moves Initiative were the staff members of the embassy of the Republic of China (Taiwan) and the members of the St Kitts and Nevis cabinet. Through the health initiative, SKN Moves, the government of St Kitts and Nevis seeks to promote Taiwan’s representation in the international sectors. Dr Terrance Drew’s government believes that Taiwan can help the international community.
