Prime Minister of St Kitts and Nevis, Dr Terrance Drew, attended the Graduation Ceremony for the students of Cayon High School Class of 2022. The event occurred at the Seventh Day Adventist Church in Molineux on November 20, 2022.
Prime Minister Dr Terrance Drew participated in the graduation ceremony as the parliamentary representative of Constituency Number 8. Dr Terrance Drew took to his social media to share a glimpse into the event with the help of Photographs and added a few words.
The Prime Minister said in his post that it was an honour to be among the students, parents, guardians and other well-wishers as we all gathered at the Seventh Day Adventist Church in Molineux for the graduation on Wednesday, November 16. The Cayon High school held the event for the graduation ceremony in celebration of the Cayon High School Class of 2022.
Prime Minister Dr Terrance Drew extended Congratulations to all students, including this year’s two Dr Terrance Drew award recipients.
He addressed the students in his Facebook post with the words:
Graduates, this is just the beginning of a new chapter in your life. Stay focused. You are our future leaders in whatever field you choose; your academic abilities, natural talent and skills will groom your mindset. You are all capable of doing well in your future endeavours.
Youth development remains an area in which I am passionate, and this caring government is committed to the upliftment of our young people.
The New Government of St Kitts and Nevis, led by Prime Minister Dr Terrance Drew, is working tirelessly to broaden the educational avenues of the students.
These include the various concessions and scholarships provided by the government towards building the nation’s human resources.
In his recent address after 100 days of his government, he recounted the steps his government has taken to promote education. These steps include:
- Sourcing over 4000 electronic devices to enhance learning for our children
- Free Tuition Policy for all students attending Clarence Fitzroy Bryant College.
and many other steps are yet to be initiated to provide better access to education to the people of the country.
