The United States records 1514 COVID-19 deaths in 24 hours

The United States has recorded 1,514 deaths due to coronavirus in the past 24 hours.

The coronavirus pandemic has claimed a minimum of 22,020 lives within the United States alone; the global numbers are even higher.

The United States of America has reported the most number of deaths due to the novel coronavirus and is leading the global tally of the COVID-19 deaths.

Not only is the United States leading the tally of COVID-19 deaths, but is also leading the tally of the number of cases of infection.

According to the Baltimore-based university’s count, The United States has around 555,313 confirmed cases of COVID-19 coronavirus infection in the country.

The United States has been recording around 2,000 deaths in every 24 hours due to the coronavirus.

The cases death majorly comprise of older people with weak immune systems and ethnic minorities which have less access to health care.

Around 4.25% of the world’s population resides in the United States, and the country accounts for around one-fifth of the world’s total deaths due to COVID-19 coronavirus.

There have been almost 114,180 deaths due to COVID-19 worldwide, ever since the virus first emerged in China’s Wuhan in December last year.

Anthony Fauci, the United States Government’s top expert on infectious diseases, has said on Sunday that the United States could be able to start reopening gradually from the next month, as signs grew that the coronavirus pandemic was peaking.

Fauci is a veteran pandemic expert, and he said in an interview that some parts of the United States could begin easing restrictions in May.
He added that the reopening should be gradual and that the country needs to be cautious.

It is noteworthy that Fauci is the head of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases and he said that he thinks that the country could probably start a minimum of in some ways by the next month
