St Kitts and Nevis: The St Kitts and Nevis Pelicans kicked off the Americas Netball Men’s Championship securing their first win in their first game with a significant victory over Antigua and Barbuda.
The first match of St Kitts and Nevis in the America’s Netball Men’s Netball Championship was a commanding victory with a score of 41 over 27 points of the Antigua and Barbuda.
Significantly, the match was held at the PAM Tyson Netball Complex in St Kitts and was scheduled at 5:30 in the evening on September 12, 2024.
St Kitts Minister of Sports, Samal Duggins took his official Facebook account to congratulate the winning team and expressed the feeling of pride.

Minister Duggins extended a special shoutout to the tam captain, Zeon Hector, who secured the title of the Most Valuable Player (MVP) of the match. In addition to this, Captain Hector also showcased incredible control throughout the game.
He also praised the captain and stated that Zeon Hector’s composure, sharp-decision making, and strategic plays kept the momentum of the game in their favour, leading the St Kitts and Nevis Team to victory.
Notably, the winning title attracted a close match at the beginning with St Kitts and Nevis at 9 points and Antigua and Barbuda at 8 at the end of the first quarter. Even by the end of the second quarter, SKN Pelicans were leading with 18 points leaving ANU behind with 16 points.

The St Kitts and Nevis Team showed their best and backed 28 points by the end of the 3rd quarter, whereas, Antigua and Barbuda scored only 22 points.
The match was completely one-sided by the end of the game and the St Kitts and Nevis Pelicans secured the victory title with 41 points.
