St. Kitts and Nevis Tourism Minister Marsha Henderson has traveled to New York City as she represents St. Kitts and Nevis at the Caribbean Week this year. The Caribbean Tourism Week commenced on June 16, 2024, and will continue until 21 June, 2024.
The Caribbean Tourism Organization (CTO) invited its members to the Inter-Continental New York Times Square.
This year’s Caribbean Tourism Week celebrates the CTO’s 35th anniversary under the theme “Connecting the Globe, Celebrating Diversity.” The week-long celebration features events designed to encourage growth and collaboration within the Caribbean tourism industry.
The event was sponsored by the Bahamas Ministry of Tourism, Investments & Aviation, and the Cayman Islands Department of Tourism, Caribbean Week 2024. The stakeholders believe that the event will feature dynamic discussions and meaningful collaborations in New York, envisioned to chart the future of Caribbean tourism.
Rosa Harris, Chairman of the CTO Board of Directors, says she is excited to be returning to New York City, especially to connect with the Caribbean diaspora and hold discussions on tourism as a driver of the regional economy.

Marsha Henderson delightedly shared that she is happy to be working with the Caribbean Tourism Minister counterparts to boost tourism in the beautiful islands.
The performances will be enthroned in the Week under the anniversary theme, which will be jam-packed with business symposiums, media awards, and discussions on innovative tourism strategies at Caribbean Week 2024.
The sessions will feature key themes such as service excellence, multicultural marketing, and sustainable destination management. The event will also shine a special spotlight on women in leadership, featuring a breakfast and award ceremony.
“I remain dedicated to ensuring that our voice as a Federation is heard and our unique offerings are showcased to the world,” the Minister of Tourism expressed.
Minister Marsha Henderson also shared glimpses and highlights of the Caribbean Week through her social media.

Caribbean Week will be colourful and energetic, bringing together a large number of key travel industry professionals, influencers, and other stakeholders for one common goal: to move the region’s tourism forward globally
