The Premier of Nevis, Mark Brantley, who is on a 4-day state visit to the Republic of China (Taiwan), has shared glimpses of the trip on his Facebook account. Through the update, Premier of Nevis, Mark Brantley, aimed to keep the residents and citizens in a loop of the happenings of the 4-day official state visit.
On the first day of the event, The Prime Minister and his delegation, consisting of high-level ministers like The premier of Nevis, Mark Brantley, Deputy Premier Alexis Jeffers, Minister of Foreign Affairs, Dr Denzill Douglas, among several other high-level officials and leaders of St Kitts and Nevis are attending the travel expo in Tapei.
Premier Mark Brantley took to his Facebook to share glimpses from the event. His post featured an image of himself and the Prime Minister of St Kitts and Nevis, along with the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Dr Denzil Douglas. In the image, the audience could see the leaders’ smiling faces, sitting on different cycles.
A video was also shared on the premier’s Facebook page by another St Kittitian and Nevisian, where the Premier and the Prime Minister can be seen cycling in place at the event.
The two leaders, Mark Brantley and Dr Terrance Drew, have shared a warm and cordial relationship with one another since St Kitts and Nevis Labour party came into power by winning the government.
One of the first interactions between the two leaders had resulted in the Premier, Mark Brantley stating that he wanted to give the Prime Minister a chance to prove his capability. He had also stated that the meeting was delightful.
Since the start, the two leaders have shared a warm relationship with one another. The relationship is being appreciated by the people of St Kitts and Nevis. In the three months since the government was formed, the leaders have worked together for the development and upliftment of both island nations.
Further, this is the very first time when a leader from Nevis has accompanied the Prime Minister on an official visit overseas.
