The InterCaribbean Airways have announced a route to St Kitts and Nevis starting on December 18. The people of the island will be able to travel directly from Puerto Rico to St Kitts and Vice Versa.
The island nation has shared that the members of the community have been working hard to bring better airlift capacity for an increased number of tourists. The Ministry of Tourism has shared that they are most delighted with the development.
As a small island nation and the smallest sovereign state in the western hemisphere, St Kitts and Nevis needs to constantly stay on top of tourism. This is because Tourism is one of the defining sectors of the St Kitts and Nevis economy.
The InterCaribbean Airways flight is the most recent addition to the organization’s partnership with St Kitts and Nevis. The air carrier will bring scores of travellers to the shores of St Kitts and Nevis every week.
The officials have shared that the flight will depart from San Juan on Thursdays and Sundays. The flight will depart from Puerto Rico at approximately 5:20 PM and arrive at St Kitts and Nevis at 6:35 PM.
On Fridays and Mondays every week, the flight will depart from St Kitts and land in San Juan. The flight departs from St Kitts at 8:30 AM and reach San Juan at 9:40 AM. The officials have shared that the members of the two tourism authorities on both sides have expressed their delight on this new partnership.
The first flight will run on December 18 and the ticket prices will start at a promotional price of $89. The officials have shared that the tourism industry of the country is expected to see a massive surge.
