The St Kitts Tourism Authority has launched the Four Islands, One Escape on November 1, 2025, at the St. Kitts Marriott Resort. The inititiave is designed to bring the stakeholders from St Kitts and Nevis, St Martin, St Maarten, Saba, St Eustatius. The organization has shared that that the vision for the initiative is to run a campaign to promote the tourism offerings for all the islands.
The leaders from all the island nations who have partnered for the initiative were also present at the event. The St Kitts Tourism Authority has shared that it is important for the region to unite in developing the tourism sectors of all the partner nations.
The Minister of Tourism for St Kitts and Nevis, Marsha Heenderson was present at the launch event on November 1. The Permanent Secretary for the Ministry of Tourism, Tivanna Wharton was also one of the attendees.
The Minister of Tourism shed light on the vision which has driven the launch of this tourism initiative. According to her, the initiative is proof that the Caribbean nations can work together and collaborate meaningfully.
The Minister said that the four islands who are part of the initiative are working together on a shared vision of improved tourism offering to the people. The Minister has shared that this is the beginning of a very inspiring journey for the islands across Caribbean.
The four islands will pool their experience and resources to take their tourism offerings to the next level. The chairperson of the St Kitts Tourism Authority, Judith Rand CEO of the organization, Kelly Fontenelle were also present at the launch ceremony along with other senior officials.
From the other participating nations, Representative, St Eustatius, Tourism Bureau, Shandra Rouse, Caribbean Agent, St. Maarten Tourism Bureau, Jacqueline Louis and Manager of the Makana Ferry Service, Alvaro Connor was also present at the event.
