Basseterre, St Kitts and Nevis: Two cruise vessels docked at the shores of Port Zante, St. Kitts and brought over seven thousand enthusiastic passengers to the island nation. The passengers disembarked from Celebrity Ascent and Explorer of the Seas and explored the unparalleled beauty of the island nation.

The visitors experienced the vibrant culture of Kittitian and Nevisian and immersed themselves in the rich history and tropical beauty of St. Kitts. These visit by cruises to the island nation marks the continuous efforts of the tourism authority towards enhancing the sector. It also sheds light on the efforts of the ministry towards their cordial relations with the cruise management. 

The arrival of both cruises to the island nation opened doors to several opportunities for the local citizens. It created a surge in their local business and also gave them a platform to promote their locally produced goods and services. 

The cruise visitors arrived not only visited the hot-spot destinations of St. Kitts and Nevis but also explored the vibrant culture and traditions of the island nation. 

In the cruise season 2023-2024, St. Kitts and Nevis welcomed several cruises to the island nation due to which the country witnessed an influx of visitors to the island nation. With the increase in the arrivals of the passengers, the nation also noticed a spike in the tourism sector which directly created a surge in the economic conditions of the nation. 

The visit of a large number of passengers resulted in the enhancement of several sectors which includes, hotels, resorts, restaurants, transportation, tours, shops and many more. 

Along with that, the vessels docked at Port Zante, Celebrity Ascent and Explorer of the Seas offered all its tourists several luxurious amenities and activities in order to make the travel of all the passengers comfortable and memorable. 

Minister Marsha Henderson, the Tourism Minister of St. Kitts and Nevis, has also stated that she will continue to implement plans and policies in order to bring huge growth and development in the tourism sector which could benefit the nation as a whole.
