The members of the Royal St Christopher and Nevis Police Force have been accused by two St Kitts youths for beating them in separate incidents for allegedly violating the 24-hour curfew which has been imposed in the country and would remain in force until April 18.
The medical examination form points out that Amarly Hamilton had sustained several injuries on his body as a result of the beating he received on Sunday.
Amarly Hamilton’s mother has accused the police officers by saying that they kicked her son like a dog.
The Police have charged Amarly Hamilton with failing to remain inside his residence including his yard to avoid any contact outside of his family.
Another Basseterre youth has also alleged that he was beaten by the police on Sunday under circumstances which are not clear yet.
Apparently Kevaughn Bradshaw had used his cell phone to record police beating another person.
He remained outside of his house but was inside his yard when he refused to go inside the house after being directed by police.
