The teens of St. Kitts are reminded to register for the nomination of prestigious “25 Most Remarkable Teen Awards” before Friday. The nomination forms are available at All Secondary Schools and the Department of Youth Empowerment on Cayon Street.

The nominations are open to the individuals, who have contributed exceptionally well in the field of arts, sports, and innovation among others. The officials of the St. Kitts Department of Youth Empowerment took to their official social media handle (Facebook) to give the reminder to the people.

They stated, “Nominations ends this Friday! Tell us why you think your teen is remarkable. Nomination forms are at the Department of Youth Empowerment and you can also use the link.”

It is to be added that the individuals can directly visit the official website https://forms.office.com/r/Fr3aAtbsmP. It is a chance to celebrate the excellency of the teens, who have breaking barriers for a change and making a difference in their community.

“From innovators to activists, artists to athletes, every extraordinary teen deserves recognition. Don’t miss out on the opportunity to honour and celebrate their remarkable achievements! Nominate today and let’s celebrate the unstoppable spirit of youth,” added Youth Empowerment department.

Following are the conditions for the individuals to participate in the 25 Most Remarkable Teen Awards:

  1. The nominees must be elder than 13 years and should not be older than 19-years by the end of the nomination year.
  2. The nominees must have demonstrated capacity in the nominated category and should have the record of their contribution or accomplishments in their respective fields.
  3. Successful candidates are supposed to participate in a 12 months capacity building and community service programme.
  4. They should attend all capacity building workshops or sessions as a part of the programme.
  5. They are required to plan and implement 2 volunteer projects during their service year.
  6. Successful nominees and their parents are required to sign a confidentiality agreement; no mention of success is to be discussed ahead to the award ceremony.
