Leaders of the one movement government of People’s Action Movement (PAM) and Concerned Citizens Movement (CCM) Shawn K Richards and Premier Mark Brantley, along with their respective political party members, attended the Culturama Festival at Charlestown, Nevis. The leader of the St Kitts and Nevis Labour Party, Dr Terrance Drew and the members of SKNLP also made an appearance at the event

The One Movement Partners had a chance to mingle with the residents of Charlestown and the citizens who had come to visit the Culturama Festivities at Nevis on Monday, August 1, 2022.

The first Monday of August, which is also celebrated as Emancipation Day in St Kitts and Nevis, coincides with Nevis’ Culturama Festival. The leader of the Concerned Citizens Movement took to his Facebook account to share a captioned post stating, “Long Jam was EPIC.”

He thanked the people of St Kitts and Nevis, who marked their presence at the Culturama 48 festivities to support the representatives of the One Movement Government. “Thanks to the thousands that partied peacefully and to the hard-working security forces.”

Further, he also expressed his gratitude to the hard-working security forces working tirelessly to ensure the safe execution of the Culturama festivities. He applauded the efforts of Eric Evelyn in executing the Culturama Festival and called him the “Best Minister of Culture ever in his Facebook post which read “Kudos to Hon. Eric Evelyn and his team, the BEST Minister of Culture ever!!”

He further stated that “It was great to see so many of our brothers and sisters from Sexy St Kitts, including the PAM and Labour candidates, who showed Nevis so much love today.”

The candidates and the leader of St Kitts and Nevis Labour Party (SKNLP) were also in attendance at the event and shared glimpses of the event through photographs on their official social media account
