Basseterre, St. Kitts and Nevis: St. John’s Mustangs team achieved a significant milestone as they claimed the title of the inaugural Nevis Parish Relays 2024 at the Nevis Athletics Stadium. The championship took place on April 28 in Charlestown at Nevis.
St. Kitts and Nevis Athletics has shared the list of final scores of the participating teams on their official social media handle (Facebook). The scores are as follows,
- St John’s Mustangs won the board by 157 points
- St George’s Hawks secured second position with 139 scores
- St Paul’s Falcons clinched the third position by 112 points
- St James’ Tiger team at number 4 with 95 points
- St Thomas’ Dragon positioned at fifth place by claiming 88 points
Furthermore, the athletics association of the twin-island Federation congratulated all the teams for their dedication and sport’s spirit. “Congratulation to all who participated and to A1 for an A1 job done,” added St. Kitts and Nevis Athletics FB page.
The people around the region extended their heartfelt wishes and showered their blessings to the winning team through their comments on the Facebook. Some of the comments read as,
While reacting to the final results, a person named Paulette Abey commented, “Heartiest Congratulations to St John’s Mustangs. Well played, the match was super hit and you all played very well.”
