The Department of Small Businesses is gearing up for its official launch. The Ministry of Small Businesses, in the government of St Kitts and Nevis, aims to promote the new and small entrepreneurs in the country.
The Small Business Development Center SBDC St Kitts took the opportunity to highlight the small businesses of the federation. Ahead of the official launch of the ministry, they talked about Serene Weekes. She owns a business in the league, Savi’s Nail and Decor Services.
The two-tier business is people-centred and has been in business since June 15, 2017. This establishment offers nail beautification services for men, women, and children, which include Nail services for hands and feet such as manicures, pedicures, gel polish application, nail repair, scalp and nail tips at any length chosen by customer and Spa Parties for kids/teenagers.
Additionally, Savi’s Nail and Décor offers premium designs and set-up decorations for various events such as weddings, birthdays, anniversaries, tents, concerts, bedroom celebrations, picnics, baby showers, stage décor, spandex décor, corporate functions, conferences and much more.
Savi’s always strive to give a creative touch. Hence, daily, we conceptualize themes for booked events based on the client’s vision and setting up decorations accordingly. This includes tasks such as selecting the right colours, materials, and props for the event.
Similarly, it also involves setting up lighting, furniture, and other decorations. In addition, Savi’s Nail Care and Decor creates pin-ons ons, water/champagne labels, customizes photo frames for any celebration, and assists in completing school projects as a give-back to the youths of our future. That is why we believe without a doubt that you’ll be satisfied!
