Leaders of St Kitts and Nevis Labour Party (SKNLP) have extended their greetings and well wishes to the SKN Robotics team. The ten-member Team is all set to represent the twin-island federation in the FIRST Global Robotics Olympics.
FIRST Global will host the robotics Olympics in Geneva, Switzerland.
St Kitts and Nevis has picked a team of ten people to represent them on the global platform. The FIRST Global Robotics Olympics Challenge will be held from 13 to 16 October 2022.
Deputy Prime Minister of St Kitts and Nevis and the minister of Education, Dr Geoffery Hanley, recently went to the airport to drop off the SKN robotics team who will represent St Kitts and Nevis at the Global Competition.
The official Facebook pages of the Minister of Education and St Kitts and Nevis Labour Party (SKNLP) have shared an update regarding the same.
Both the pages reported the see-off with the words:
Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Education, Hon. Dr Geoffrey Hanley visited the airport to extend best wishes to the students who are travelling to Switzerland to participate in the first Global Robotics Olympics.
The SKNLP wishes the best for the students on this exciting venture.
Minister of Foreign Affairs, Dr Denzil Douglas, also took to his Facebook account to wish the Team of SKN Robotics before their departure for the FIRST Global Robotics Olympics
He wrote:
The St. Kitts Nevis Robotics Team/Students left earlier today for Switzerland, to participate in the First Global Robotics Olympics. Dep PM, Hon Dr Geoffrey Hanley, was present at the Airport with the Team and extended best wishes prior to their departure.
We wish the SKN Team every success not only as members of the Robotics Team but as Ambassadors of SKN
