The St Kitts Electricity Company Ltd (SKELEC) awarded their title sponsorship of $25,000 to the SKELEC Powers Garden Hotspurs Football Club on Thursday. The Sponsorship was awarded during a small handing-over ceremony held at Garden Sporting Complex on Fort Thomas Road in Irish Town.
As per the information, the sponsorship was presented as part of the company’s unwavering commitment to powering the community and fostering a spirit of unity.
Through this sponsorship, the players will be supported to purchase team uniforms, equipment, and club operations. The sponsorship will be for this football season in the first instance.
According to the company, this sponsorship will help the team to enrich their lives and promote the values of teamwork, resilience, and community pride.
They also shared that this significant partnership exemplifies their commitment, as both entities share a dedication to excellence and service to the community of McKnight.
Clement Williams, General Manager for SKELEC, expressed his hope and delight for the team and said it was a very easy decision for them to sponsor the Garden Hotspurs Football Club as it aligns perfectly with their commitment to the community.

Further, the SKELEC also extended their greetings and support to the team for their ongoing 2024 National Bank Group of Companies Premiere League.
