St Kitts and Nevis national Carnival Committee has shared a post featuring the order of performances for the Senior Calypso Monarch sponsored by “Flow” The finals event for the Flow Senior Calypso Monarch was held at the Warner Park Cricket Stadium in the evening of Thursday, December 29, 2022.
For the Senior Calypso Monarch hosted under the Sugar Mas 51, this year’s lineup of contestants includes eleven contenders:
- Kimara Williams
- Gloria Esdaille Robinson
- Learie Hobson
- Nathalie Charles
- Oscar Browne
- Sylvester Hodge
- Andrew Nisbett
- Karisia Willett
- Craig McDowell
- Kibiane Willett
The order in which the contestants are arranged is the same in which they go onstage to perform their music.
Each contestant competing for the title of Senior Calypso Monarch will get the chance to perform two songs.
Finalist No 1, Kimara Williams, is known by her stage name Queen Diva. For the Flow Senior Calypso Monarch contest, she will play two songs:
- what goes around
- D Power of Black
The second Finalist, Gloria Esdaille Robinson, also known by her stage name Queen Queeny G will play the following two songs in her bid for the competition:
- Same Finger
- New Day
Finalist Number 3, Learie Hobson, better known as King Honesty, will play:
- Police arrest me
- Celebrate as one
The fourth Finalist, Nathalie Charles, more renowned by her stage name Empress Lyrics played the songs:
- Fat Pork Tree
- Not a horn
Contestant number 5, Oscar Browne ot the stage artist Kin Astro performed the songs:
- Moral Bankruptcy
- Ah Seeing Red
Contestant Number six, Sylvester Hodge, King Socrates played:
- Double Slice
- Salty, Fatty and Sweet
The seventh Contestant, Andrew Nisbett, renowned by his stage name King Hollywood will play the songs:
- Karma is a switch
- Symptoms
Karisia Willett, known by her stage name, Queen Independent will play:
- The Cure
- Flash Light
Craig McDowell, King Craig will play the following two songs for his performance:
- Something to rally behind
- Motion Sickness
Kibiane Willett, known by the name Queen Kibi will play the songs:
- I want de Real Thing
- Officer House Rook
An alternate performance from Queen Singing Jackie (Jacqueline Leader) also featured the lineup of performances.
