The Minister of Sports and the creative economy in the government of St Kitts and Nevis, Samal Duggins, recently took to his social media account to share a significant update regarding the development in the challengers’ community. Notably, the Minister had committed to the community by providing access to good roads.

The community falls under Constituency #4, Minister Samal Duggins’s Parliamentary constituency. The Minister took to his social media account to share some glimpses of the progress that has taken place in the work regarding the construction of the roads. In the images shared by the Minister, the road is under the procedure of being graded.

The Minister of sports shared on his social media that he had committed to the people of Stonefort Heights to deliver a new road for the community. Further, Minister Duggins also reiterated this commitment during my recent house to house visits.

He shared that the work has started for the construction of the roads. The Minister announced that he has gotten in touch with the authorities involved in constructing the new and functional road in the Challengers Community. Accordingly, The Minister of sports and the creative economy et al, Samal Duggins shared on his social media that he was extremely happy to announce that work has commenced in just under 8 months of taking office.

Providing in-depth details about the project, Minister Duggins shared that the contractors are currently grading the road from end to end in preparation for construction. In line with this, he took the opportunity to thank the people of Challengers for choosing him to deliver better for our people and community.

At the same time, Minister Samal Duggins shared an update regarding the aftermath of the update. He shared that he will soon call for a formal meeting with community members to update the people further on the developments of the project.
