Premier Brantley highlighted that the police officers were not allowed to take off their uniforms and act in untoward ways.

The public is constantly assessing, constantly looking for you to be professional at all times. I will be the first to say that all of us are human. I know the pressures of the job you do, and that is why I have always publicly stated that I will not join anyone in public criticism of the police. If I have something to say, I do so privately. Noted Premier Brantley

Premier Mark Brantley accentuated that he can’t be grateful enough for the job they are doing.

Premier Mark Brantley went ahead and thanked the senior ranks and the junior ranks of the Police Force who serve on the island of Nevis for the excellent service that they have given to the island over the past year.

Premier Brantley urged the police officers to remain attentive in their crime-fighting efforts and recommitted the unwavering support of the Nevis Island Administration Cabinet.

Premier of Nevis Mark Brantley emphasised the issue that the police force is the face of the law, and they are there to enforce the law and alleviate any illegal activities, so they should look presentable.

Furthermore, Mark Brantley highlighted that we are all humans, but people will always expect more from law enforcement, and they should always be ready to deliver.
