The National Housing Corporation has delivered approximately 200 homes to families across St Kitts and Nevis. The organization has been working with the members of the community have shared that the members of the community.
The officials have shared that the organization is actively constructing more homes in different communities across the island. The NHC is dedicated to providing affordable housing to the people of the island nation.
The organization has shared that they are working on the construction of houses in Stapleton, Harry Phipps, Ottley’s and Sandy Point. The officials have shared that the construction for the homes is being done through the Renaissance Project.
A team of officers from the National Housing Corporation has visited some sites where the construction of houses is being done. The officials have shared that one of the sites which they visited was the housing project at Harry Phipps.
In this community, the NHC is constructing 10 two-bedroom houses for families across the people of the island. The Davina Shoulette, Assistant Technical Manager at NHC has shared an update on the progress for the construction projects.
According to her, the construction of the houses started in July and some of the houses are in phase 3 of construction and other structures are in the stage 1 and stage 2. The officials have shared that nineteen homes are being constructed in the Stapleton.
The organization has shared that the members of the organization are securing more land to construct new homes. The construction of the homes is also being constructed in the Gillard’s Meadow.
The NHC will be clearing another set of plots for construction in Newtown Ground and Sandy Ground. The construction of the houses will be completed quickly for the people for the country to make sure that they have affordable homes for themselves and their families.
