The Labour Department in the Nevis Island Administration has announced the 2023 edition of the Job Fair. The job fair is a two-day event organized by the Department of Labour Nevis. The Career Fair and Skills Training Expo Day One will include professional development sessions for the youth of the island nation. The event is open to the youth of the island aged between 16 years to 21 years.
The all-around development of the youth of the island is a priority of the government of Nevis. The team of the Labour Department of Nevis has organized the Career Fair and Skills Training Expo Day for the benefit of the youth of the country. Day two of the Career fair will include hands-on skills training demonstrations.
The Department of Labour in Nevis has shared that the following skill demonstrations will be on display during the two-day event.
1. Electricity
2. Mechanics
3. Welding
4. Carpentry
5. Construction
6. Plumbing
7. Textiles
8. Cosmetology
9. Landscaping
10. Cement & Block Making
11. HVAC
12. Engineering
13. Occupational Safety and Health (OSH)
The team of the Labour Department in Nevis has invited the people of Nevis to register themselves for the two-day event. The event will feature several learning opportunities for the youth of the island. The career fair and Skills Training Expo Days will also serve as an opportunity for the youth to get exposure and experience in the field of their skills and expertise.
The Job fair will take place on June 26 to June 27. Malcolm Gulshard Recreational Park, Pinneys Beach, Nevis, will serve as the venue for the event. The two-day event will take place for two days during the 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM for two days. The Labour Department in Nevis has invited the youth of the country to register for the two event. The last day for the event’s registeration is June 16, 2023.
