Diani Jimesha Prince-Drew, wife of Prime Minister Dr. Terrance Drew, donated several items to three pre-schools in the commemoration of Child Month. This donation was held on 6th June 2024.

Diani Jimesha Prince-Drew made these donations to The Louisa Grant Pre-School in Conaree, Vera’s Day Care in Cayon, and the Victoria Road Pre-School in Basseterre. All these schools fall in the Constituency Number 8 of St Kitts and Nevis, which is represented by PM Drew.

She said that his husband, the Prime Minister of St. Kitts and Nevis, has long been committed to the holistic development of children, which can be seen even now through the launch of various comprehensive policies.

“I’m happy to be able to continue his philanthropic work,” Lady Diani Prince added.

The Louisa Grant Pre-School received new toilets, doors, and a new stove, while Vera’s Day Care and Victoria Road Pre-School received several standing and wall-mounted fans.

“I was especially happy to surprise Vera’s day Care, as I promised I would be back when I visited in April,” outlined Diani Prince-Drew.

PM Drew extended his heartfelt gratitude to his wife and first lady of St. Kitts and Nevis for ably assisting with his outreach to the preschools and the children through a social media post.

“We are committed to helping the schools and children to have improved learning conditions,” posted PM Terrance Drew.

Diani Prince-Drew also shared the highlights and glimpses of her visit and donations to the schools through her Facebook posts.

Diani Jimesha Prince-Drew, on behalf of the government, said that they hope the items donated will assist in creating an even more comfortable environment for both the children and teachers while expressing the motive of PM Drew behind this initiative.

“We hope that the items will help to encourage and enhance learning, creativity, and the overall development of these little intelligent ones,” expressed Diani Prine-Drew hopefully.
