Samal Duggins took to social media and announced that the Department of Sports is inviting people to the Bank of Nevis Ltd 2024 Basseterre Zone Primary School Championship. This Zone Primary School Championship will take place on Friday, January 19th, at 1:30 pm at Kim Collins Stadium. 

 The Department of Sports invites residents to Come cheer for the young athletes.

The Department of Sports has left a trend on social media where the students have to Represent the school in the comments section. 

They have noted that the students should drop a yellow heart for Irish Town, a red heart for Tucker Clarke, a blue heart for Beach Allen, or a pink heart for Dr William Connor. 

Additionally, SKNFA TDS Tryouts have been Schedule to take place at 5 pm daily for the Boys and Girls ages 12-16 

in the Rural East St.Mary’s Park, Cayon

Rural West in Samuel Williams Sporting Complex, Verchilds

Furthermore, Minister Samal Duggins shared a glimpse of talented artists in Parsons and St Paul. He noted that on the weekend, he had the honour of providing water to the incredible artists who are contributing to the Creative Community Murals Project by the Department of Culture. 

One of the aims of this project is to provide a platform to showcase and celebrate the local visual artists. 

Their artistic vision is turning visually depressed areas into vibrant showcases of the cultural heritage. Additionally, their work not only beautifies but also instils pride in their respective community.
