Barbados has witnessed a week without any new cases of the COVID-19 coronavirus, and it is for the first time after the first case of COVID-19 appeared in the country.
Yesterday, for the seventh day in a row, the Best-dos Santos Public Health Laboratory reported that no person had tested positive for the novel coronavirus among the 118 tests which had been conducted.
Meanwhile, nine people remain in isolation since no one would be released today.
Since the first two cases of the virus in the country appeared on March 16, 92 people have been diagnosed, and 76 persons have recovered from the COVID-19 disease. The virus has caused seven deaths in the country.
The public health laboratory has completed a total of 5,390 tests for the virus in the country.
