The prime minister of St Kitts and Nevis, Dr Terrance Drew, took to his social media account to congratulate the thirty-one recruits of Course No. 46 who decided to take the brave step to serve their country. The thirty-one youngsters got to join the police training exercises that will prepare them for their service in the police force.

The government of St Kitts and Nevis and Prime Minister Dr Terrance Drew applauded the success of the youngsters of the federation. They held a brief yet significant ceremony celebrating the recruits for their success. The ceremony occurred on Monday, July 24, at the Police Training School.

The Prime Minister was also present at the event. The prime minister shared some images from the event on his social media account. He is the minister of social security et al. Accordingly, he was present at the event. The members of the Ministry of national security accompanied him. The prominent member of the police force of St Kitts and Nevis and the prominent members of the St Kitts and Nevis government were present at the event.

Dr Terrance Drew, The prime minister, announced that the recruits will undergo months of intensive training in three core areas: general duties, criminal law, and evidence & procedures.

Further, expressing his support to the thirty-one recruits of the country’s police force. Prime Minister Dr Terrance Drew took to his social media account after the event. He shares some images from the event.

He wrote, I applaud these young men and women for answering the call of service and I implore each of them to uphold the ethos and professionalism of the Royal St Christopher and Nevis Police Force.

The country’s prime minister recieved some advice from the people of the country for the benefit of the national security. A social media user, De-Syl N. Hamilton wrote on their social media:

The force needs also to be trained in effective communication and conflict resolution. Too many times officers escalate situations because they are just bad at dealing with people.
