Wild Side Riders Club has adopted the Cotton Thomas Comprehensive School. The club has promised long term support to the education institution. The club showed their support to the school with a donation of EC $2,000.
The school has been serving as an important institution for students with special needs. The representatives of the Wild Side Riders Club visited the school and were welcomed by several members of the staff, students and management.
Larry Monrose, Vice President of the Wild Side Riders Club visited the school on behalf of the organization. He was also accompanied by the President of Wild Side Canada, Maranda Powell and Public Relations Officer for the Wild Side St. Kitts branch, Vondell Philips.
The arrival of the Wild SIde team highlights their commitment to their mission across countries where they operate.
The Vice President Larry Monrose spoke to the gathered students and members of the staff at the school. He said that the school holds great importance in the community and embodies the values of unconditional love, strength and resilience.
He also added that the school has been playing an indispensable role in nurturing and empowering children with special needs.
The officials who were part of the visit alongside Larry Monrose also spoke positively about the school and its contribution to the community
Monrose also asked the people of the community to show greater involvement in helping the school grow. The members of the community can play a very important role in reinforcing educational development and social inclusion.
The students and teachers of the Cotton Thomas Comprehensive School welcomed these words from the Vice President with applause. During the same visit, the club formally announced that they will be adopting the school.
The club also made it clear that the donation is not a one time initiative as financial support will continue in a periodic manner. The first phase of the donation will help in ensuring that the children can get access to resources and growth opportunities which are available to them.
