The St. Kitts Yacht Club will be organizing a Summer Aquatic & Sail Camp twice this month from July 13 to 17 and July 20 to 24, 2026. The camp will take place in the St. Kitts Yacht Club Centre in Anchorage, Frigate Bay. The theme of the camp is “Make Waves This Summer”.
The department shared that the camp is especially designed for the development of young minds. The camp is open for children in the age group of 5 to 16 years and interested children can participate. The timing of the camp is scheduled from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm. The department stated that through this initiative they are working on making sailing accessible to everyone in St. Kitts.
The ticket price for the interested individuals is divided into two segments. For the members of the St. Kitts Yacht Club the price is EC$ 225 per week and for non members the price is EC$ 250 per week. The club also shared that interested individuals have to register themselves online by filling G-form. The payment for the camp should be paid online by scanning the QR code shared by the department online on their official social media page.
During the camp participants will get the opportunity to experience several water activities including sailing, adventure sails, beach games, team challenging activities, kayaking & paddleboarding and swimming. The camp also has an education segment where professionals educate them about marine biology and ocean discovery.
The St. Kitts Yacht Club officials shared that through this camp children will learn new skills and personal growth including building confidence, leadership qualities and give them opportunity to adjust themselves in a new environment. The children will be under the supervision of a professional instructor while engaging in the activities.
Notably, the department also announced that during the camp all equipment will be provided by them along with safety equipment. They even requested the parents to register as soon as possible as it is a unique opportunity for their children to learn something new.
