St Kitts and Nevis Prime Minister Dr Terrance Drew has announced the 2026 edition of the Sound Your Future Summer Camp. The summer camp gives the attendants the opportunity to engage in and nurture their interest in music.
The sound your future summer camp has been an annual event meant for the children who want to learn and improve their command of music. During the course of the summer camp, musical experts will come in to teach the participants
The officials have shared that it is important for the youngsters to have access to diverse career paths. The leadership has shared that the summer camp is an opportunity for the youngsters to engage in more productive activities.
The officials have shared that the summer camp organised under the patronage of the Prime Minister Dr Terrance Drew, features sessions with the musical experts who would teach children songwriting, spoken word or music production.
The summer camp is open for children between the ages of 10 to 18. The children will have the opportunity to learn from industry experts. The officials have shared that the registration for the summer camp has started.
The Prime Minister said that Registration is now open for the Sound Your Future Summer Camp 2026.
“If you have a child between the ages of 10 and 18 with an interest in song writing, spoken word, or music production, I encourage you to register them for this exciting summer camp,” Dr. Drew posted on social media. He said: “Spaces are limited, so be sure to register early.” The previous editions of the sound your future summer camp have seen significant attention from the people of the island nation.
The song writing, music production training summer camp is part of the administration’s mandate to promote the creative economy of the country. The youngsters, through the summer camp can work on nurturing their passion for music from a young age.
