Prime Minister Dr Terrance Drew spent Christmas eve visiting the patients at the Joseph N France General Hospital in Basseterre. The visit was part of the Prime Minister’s drive to being the festive spirit to all parts of the country.
The Prime Minister visits the JNF General Hospital every year to meet the patiients and greet the christmas babies. Additionally, he also makes it a priority to interact with the people of the country and celebrate with them.
Dr Drew shared some images from his visit to the hospital on his social media. He said that he was delighted to have the opportunity to interact with the patients and celebrate the festivals with them.
He further added that he shared words of encouragement with them and hoped for a quick recovery for them. The Prime Minister further noted that the meeting with the patients at the hospital was also done to extend the wishes of the season to the people of the island.
The Prime Minister brought gifts for the patients whom he visited on the ocassion of Christmas. He hoped for the speedy recovery of the patients at the hospital.
The Prime Minister also extended the wishes that the festival season brings comfort hope and to the people of the island nation. PM Terrrance Drew visits the hospital every year on the ocassions of Christmas and New Year.
The aim of the visits is to stay connected with the people of the country. The JNF General Hospital was decorated in the spirit of christmas. The Prime Minister dropped off his gifts for the patients under the Christmas Tree.
The officials have shared that the members of the community are delighted to see the Prime Minister making efforts to spread happiness among the people of the island with his visit. They appreciated the efforts that PM Drew made to include the patients at JNF General Hospital to the celebration going on in the rest of the country
