The Prime Minister of St Kitts and Nevis, Dr Terrance Drew visited Tron Energy Technology and the Vanilla Ueno Park during his week-long state visit to Republic of China (Taiwan). The Prime Minister led a delegation of officers to the places to understand the workings of these places to implement these learnings back home.
While the visit to Tron Energy was dedicated towards exploring opportunities for the two nations to collaborate. The visit to the Vanilla Ueno Park was aimed towards ensuring that the agriculture sector of the country can grow with the support and learnings which the delegation gathers during their trip.
The organization has been a leading manufacturer of sustainable electric vehicles in Taiwan. The Prime Minister shared that the visit was done in line with the St Kitts and Nevis Government’s mandate to train youngsters in Solar PV.
The Prime Minister has shared that he is dedicated to making sure that the youngsters of the country can work together and grow with support from the government. During his visit to the Tron Energy Technology, PM Drew said the visit aims to explore opportunities for the EV Trainings which are already being hosted in St Kitts and Nevis with the support from Taiwan.
The people of the community can get trained in EV and Solar PV maintenance. The Prime Minister has shared that he and his delegation were part of several productive discussions.
The delegation shared that they talked to the President and Vice President of Tron Energy Technology. The next visit was to the Vanilla Ueno Park, which the Prime Minister said was a centre of sustainable farming, environmental education, and innovative food-production practices.
The Prime Minister has shared that the visit was important for the development of the St Kitts and Nevis Agriculture sector. The aim of the organization has been to develop the local agriculture, increasing food security, and building national capacity as St. Kitts and Nevis
