Four cruise ships, carrying 12753 passengers docked at Port Zante on Tuesday marking another full cruise day. Most of the passengers from the four cruise ships disembarked from the vessel and explored the island.
The cruise ships which docked at Port Zante on Tuesday included AIDAsol, Ariva, MSC Davina and Insignia. The AIDASol was carrying a total of 2449 passengers. The ship sailed into St Kitts from La Romana in the Dominican Republic. The arvia, sailed in with more than 5,700 passengers.
The officials have shared that MSC Devina was carrying a total of 3,944 passengers which brings total of tuesday’s arrivals to 12,753. The passengers explored the popular spots on the island including the Brimstone Hill Fortress National Park, Romney Manor. the Black Rocks were also popular among passegers. Yet other people made stops at the Berkley Memorial at the Circus, . The St Geoege’s Catholic Churc and Immaculate Conception Co-Cathedral. Popular landmark independence square and the war memorial were also part of the initiative.
The passengers who came down from the cruise ships also shopped for local crafts and souvenirs. The small business owners across the island were able to experience a cert productive day at Port Zante. The tourists also went to some other interesting places across the island including Mount Liamuiga where they enjoyed hiking trails, snorkling and more. The beaches of the island were also welcoming for the passengers of St Kitts and Nevis
The island has been a popular destination for cruise passengers as many cruise lines have been forming strong partnerships with cruise lines. The Christmas week has been seeing an increased influx of passengers to the island of Nevis.
The officials have shared that the island is ready to welcome another multiple cruise ships to the island on Decemeber 24.The ships which will dock at the shores of St Kitts on Thursday include Celebrity Apex, Mein Schiff 2 and Allure of the Seas.
