The Citizens of St Kitts and Nevis who will attend the Investment Gateway Summit (IGS 2026) will get a waiver on the biometric processing fees prescribed under the country’s National Biometric Enrolment and Passport Modernisation Programme. The announcement has come from the Investment Gateway Summit social media communications and the Citizenship Unit of St Kitts and Nevis.

The event has been a platform for the nationals of the country to reconnect with their roots. The event also allows international investors and HNWIs to discover, experience and explore the island.
The administration is making efforts to promote the modernisation agenda with the development of the national biometric database. The fee waiver is also aimed towards encouraging more nationals of St Kitts and Nevis to attend the 4 day summit.
The authorities have confirmed that eligible persons attending the summit from June 17 to June 20, 2026 can get exemption from paying the biometric enrollment fees,
This exemption is applicable to individuals who want to return to St Kitts and Nevis reconnect to their roots. The nationals can continue to contribute to the economic growth and prosperity of the nation.
The individuals who want to benefit from this exemption have to register to attend the summit through official channels. The fee waiver can translate into sizable savings for the citizens taking advantage of the opportunity.
Without the waiver in place the individuals have to pay a Standard biometric processing fees set at US$2,500 for a main adult applicant, US$2,000 for a second adult applicant, and US$1,300 for children under the age of 16.
In order to qualify for the fees waiver, the attendants have to register for the Investment Gateway Summit. They are also required to give proof of attendance through their Authorised Agent before they take an appointment for their biometric enrolment.
The authorities have further announced that a biometric collection centre will also be established at the summit venue. This will help the attendants of the summit complete the enrolment process while they are participating in the event.
The National Biometric Enrolment and Passport Modernisation Programme was launched by the government of the twin island federation in April 2026. The modernisation effort is aimed towards strengthening the integrity, security and global reputation of St. Kitts and Nevis’ citizenship.
