The second day of the Embassy of St. Kitts and Nevis to the Republic of China (Taiwan) 1st Summer Camp of 2026 concluded with active participation of the campers. On the 2nd day, the Embassy divided the participants in two groups: first “Taiwan Can Help” and second “Sustainable Island Agenda (SISA)”.
The first group of the campers was led by the embassy intern Anssel Lin and D’Quani Clarke, Yohance Willett and Alice Huang assisted the students on the topic “Taiwan Can Help”. The session helped the campers to understand better about the relationship between St. Kitts and Nevis and Taiwan.
After the session embassy officials assigned a task to campers to create a logo or infographic illustration on the basis of what they learn and observe throughout the session. The logo or illustration had to showcase the 43 years of Diplomatic relations between both the countries.
The second group of the campers was led by the embassy intern Ezrah Brandy and Tyrique Jeffers, Howard Liburd, Jahmarley Riley and Embassy Ambassador Donya L. Francis accompanied Brandy. The Embassy presented the presentation on the Sustainable Island State Agenda(SISA). Throughout the session the Embassy shared the updates and deployments of the agenda with campers to help them to understand the objective and importance of the agenda.
Additionally, after the session campers were assigned to draw a picture on their observation regarding the agenda seven pillars. The seven pillars of the SISA are Energy Transition, Water Security, Food and Nutrition Security, Sustainable Industries, Sustainable Settlements, Circular Economy and Health and Social Protection.
According to the reports, campers chose the Energy Transition, Circular Economy and Water Security pillars for their picture. The Embassy of St. Kitts and Nevis to Taiwan also shared the glimpse of the 2 day on their official social media handle.
Notably, the camp is hosted at the Ger-Jyh Senior High School in No. 260, Dazhi Street, Sanchong District, New Taipei City, Taiwan and Friday August 8, 2026 will be the concluding day of the camp.
