For the first time in St. Kitts and Nevis’s history, Dassault Falcon 8X has been witnessed in St. Kitts airspace. It happens to be a nonstop private jet flight from Cairo, Egypt to St. Kitts ahead of the historic 50th Regular Meeting of the Conference of Heads of Government of the Caribbean Community (CARICOM).
It is truly an exceptional time for aviation enthusiasts as such scenes are witnessed once in a lifetime for small island nations such as St Kitts and Nevis.
This flight which took off from North Africa to the Caribbean was a 13 hour long nonstop flight. It truly became an impressive sight as the aircraft landed at Robert L. Bradshaw International Airport.
It was a rare experience, as a lot of St. Kitts and Nevians have seen the Falcon 7X pass through St. Kitts over the years but this time it was 8X, which has created history in the aviation sector.
The Dassault Falcon 8X is one of the most advanced ultra-long-range business jets in the world. It is a $60M+ ultra-long-range tri-jet business jet with a 6,450 nautical miles range. It is also known for connecting cities with large distances.
It was first announced at the 2014 European Business Aviation Convention and Exhibition, that the Falcon 8X features a cabin extended by 1.1 meters over the 7X . At the same time, 8X also boasts the improved wing design and Pratt and Whitney Canada PW300 engines, delivering up to 35% greater fuel efficiency than competitors.
This historic airspace sighting suggests a high profile arrival to the 50th Regular Meeting of CARICOM summit. It also positions St. Kitts and Nevis as a small island with significant global attention.
Previously, a non stop Air Peace airline flight arrived from Abuja Nnamdi Azikiwe International AirPort in Nigeria to Robert L. Bradshaw International AirPort in St. Kitts and Nevis. This trip marked the first direct flight from Nigeria to St. Kitts and Nevis. It was a 10 hour long non stop flight ‘AIR PEACE 777-300’. This flight carried Nigerians and other Africans attending a business summit at St. Kitts and Nevis.
Noting this achievement in 2025, and to this wonderful beginnings, some people had, at the time taken to Facebook to congratulate Air Peace for its initiative to bridge the gap with many looking forward to visiting the Caribbean island of St. Kitts.
