St Kitts and Nevis: Minister Akilah Byron-Nisbett said that the government would continue to realize the importance of investing in developing the skills and talents of young people in the Federation.
“Our young people remain at the heart of our country‘s future, and Team Unity will provide them with the opportunity to be successful in their homeland,” said Minister of Health, Information Technology, Talent Development and Entrepreneurship on Tuesday’s issue of Leadership Matters.
Minister Byron-Nisbett said young people need a lot of support and added that she would work to ensure they get the help they need to grow.
‘I promise to provide the technology needed for our young entrepreneurs to thrive. We will build that digital economy. We will build an economy that enables our young people to succeed, whether technology, innovation, music, art – whatever it is, we will make that commitment. We will do it together, added.
Equally important, Minister Byron-Nisbett recalled all of the government’s successes in making lives better since he took office in 2015.
‘For six successful years, Team Unity delivers a better way for everyone in St. Louis. Kitts and Nevis. We created and continued new jobs, built better homes, and delivered safer streets. We have Nevis and St. Kitts successfully approached, tightened, and we intend to make this relationship even stronger, “said Minister Byron-Nisbett. “Over six successful years, we have strengthened our economy while monitoring the health care of citizens during COVID-19. “Team Unity will continue to work for you, build on what we have achieved and ensure a stronger, safer future,” the minister added.
