According to the Office of Oswego County Sheriff, the Key Bank in Mexico was robbed this afternoon.

Deputies were called to the reported robbery at the bank which is located at 3283 Main St. in the village of Mexico.

Oswego County Sheriff’s Lt. Andrew Bucher said that the robber did not use or display a weapon during the robbery. Deputies were, however, able to recover some part of the stolen proceeds.

One person is now in the custody of the police, in connection with the said robbery at the bank. Still, the sheriff’s office has not identified the person as of now and has not provided any other information.
