The St Kitts Tourism Authority has been bringing attention to the country’s  annual national carnival, Sugar Mas at the Antigua Carnival. The authorities of the SKTA engaged in destination activities at RISE and De Breakfast Fete. 

The tourism authority has been making significant efforts to promote the destination not only in the region, but also on the international stage. The officials have shared that the members of the tourism authority have shared that it is important for the people of the island.. 

The officials have shared that they were able to interact with several people at the Antigua Carnival and inform them about the work that they do on the project. 

The delegation that visited the event to promote St Kitts and Nevis highlighted that the vibe of the event was expected to bring the likelihood of the people to be more interested in learning about St Kitts and Nevis National Carnival, Sugar Mas 55. 

The delegation has shared that they were delighted about engaging the engaging thousands of attendees at the Antigua Carnival. The event was attended by a large influx of tourists from across the Caribbean as well as international markets.

The St Kitts Tourism Authority have shared several images from the event on their social media. The SKTA also shared their experience at the event. According to the authority delegation, “These high-energy events provided an opportunity to position St. Kitts as the next destination to visit, encouraging future travel and showcasing the island’s culture, attractions, and event calendar,” 

The SKTA delegation travelled to Antigua for the promotion activity on Thursday. Attendees learned more about Sugar Mas and the many experiences that make St. Kitts a destination worth exploring.

The SKTA said leading the activations were Drunisha Hanley, Caribbean Sales & Events Officer, and Jason Amory, Marketing Agent, who connected with visitors and shared what awaits them  on their visit to St. Kitts.
