People of St Kitts and Nevis can access healthcare facilities provided by the North American Taiwanese Medical Association (NATMA). The association has launched its first-ever medical mission to the Federation.
Taiwan has been working with the government of St Kitts and Nevis for the growth of the healthcare sector of the island nation. The officials have shared that the members of the community. The officials have shared that the members of the community can get access to facilities.
The medical mission was led by Dr. Charles Hsu and consisted of the 17 U.S.-licensed and Canada-based healthcare professionals. The doctors will be providing healthcare facilities to the patients from June 1 to June 4. The doctors will be available for consultations at health facilities across both Saint Kitts and Nevis.
The people can access the services of specialists in family medicine, pediatric medicine, dentistry, pharmacy, and other specialisations. The doctors will also be available for internal medicine, acupuncture, and medical support services.
The medical mission has donated approximately US$20,000 worth of medical supplies to support healthcare delivery within St Kitts and Nevis.

In addition to offering free consultations and treatment, the team has donated medications and medical supplies valued at approximately US$20,000 to support healthcare delivery within the Federation.
The medical mission travelled to the federation on their own personal expense to serve the people across both the islands. The initiative highlights the strength of the relationship between the three nations who were Stakeholders in this mission, United States of America, St Kitts and Nevis and Taiwan.
The permanent secretary in the Ministry of Health, Curtis Martin expressed gratitude to the delegation. He also highlighted the enduring friendship between Saint Kitts and Nevis and Taiwan.
The people of the twin island can access medical facilities from 8:30 AM to 3:30 PM in St Kitts with dental services running from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM Clinics in Nevis will operate from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM
