Minister of Sports and creative economy, Samal Duggins has shared a remarkable update on the rehabilitation of the Challengers Basketball Facility. The Minister confirmed that the members of the community have been asking for an update on the Basketball Facility for the country 

The Minister of Sports et al, shared that this is a much awaited project for the administration to start work on. The people of the country have been waiting for more than a decade for the restoration of the basketball facility. 

As such, during the previous weekend, the Minister of Sports started the restoration process with the members of the community supporting her. The officials have shared that they worked from the morning of Saturday to afternoon.

The event was supported by the members of the community, stakeholders. The restoration process was also supported by partners like Elevate, Chesel Glasgow, Thompson’s Landscaping, and Hillside Streamers Cleaning.

The officials have shared that the members of the community started the work on cleaning, disinfecting and power washing the facility. They removed the garbage that has been collecting in the facility for the last several months. 

All this work is proof of the fact that the administration has been working with the members of the community for the people are supportive of the administration for the people of the country. The officials have shared that the members of the community will be able to work and bring themselves the basketball facility. 

The Minister shared that the community will be able to use the facility again after the restoration process is complete. The officials have shared that the members of the community are delighted that the progress has been made in this regard.

The Minister has shared that it is important for the people to come together to make sure that the community gets facilities that they can use to assist their growth.
