Paypal international money transfer option Xoom can now be used to pay off bills in the Caribbean island of Jamaica. Through a combination with bill program provider Paykii consumers in the U.S., U.K., Canada and 37 stores around Europe can now practice Xoom’s money transfer service to pay power, communications, internet, wire, mobile network, water, mortgage and insurance bills in Jamaica.

Julian King, vice president and general manager of Xoom, said in a press release that,“At Xoom, we’re continually innovating to contribute cutting edge funds transfer assistance for our clients across the globe,”

He said that the company is passionate to partner with Paykii to launch their payments services in Jamaica which will assist Jamaicans living abroad to be able to helo fast and easy in helping their loved ones residing in the country, Xoom will end their struggles of standing in long queues to pay off bills.

As per Fabian Saide Co-founder of Paykii, their organisation is happy to work with a digital innovator and global leader in the industry.

Xoom had announced earlier this year that customers will now be able to send money to the U.S. for the first time via partnerships with Walmart and Ria, which is allowing Americans to use Xoom to transfer money for cash pickup at nearly 5,000 places across the country.
