The St Vincent-born police officer who was on the run has been captured in neighboring Antigua and Barbuda.
According to well informed sources, Police Constable Elrick Julano Clarke could be returned to St Kitts on Saturday.
Clarke is wanted for the alleged unlawful carnal knowledge of a 15-year-old girl committed in Nevis.
The National Joint Co-ordination Centre in Antigua had placed the region on the alert in a bulletin dated October 25, 2019 which advised the Royal Police Force of Antigua and Barbuda (RPFAB), the Antigua and Barbuda Defence Force (ABDF), The Office of National Drug and Money Laundering Control Police (ONDCP), Immigration and Customs “to be on the lookout for Elrick Julano Clarke and if sighted to be detained.”
The NJCC indicated Clarke) was wanted for the alleged offence committed on 15th October 2019.
