Prime Minister Dr Terrance Drew made a visit to the Football Program led by the Security Forces United Football Club (SFUFC) in collaboration with the Royal St Christopher and Nevis Police Forces’ National Intervention Team (NIT).
PM Drew made this significant visit on Saturday, October 5, 2024, on the launch of the main event at the NCI Grounds in Needsmust, St Kitts.
PM Drew shared the highlights of his visit on his official social media account where he engaged with parents, coaches, and supporters. The children were thrilled to meet him, enthusiastically sharing football banter and lively conversations.
While sharing the glimpses, PM Drew noted that this program is a vital initiative and a part of the citizen security efforts that focuses on the holistic development of the youth and working to ensure that they stay on a positive path.

Significantly, the Security Forces United Football Club has announced the launch of a transformative grassroots football initiative in St Kitts and Nevis, named “Discovering Talent, Igniting Dreams, Building Futures.”
The program is designed for the children aged four to twelve, that will take place every Saturday morning from 9 am to 12:30 pm at the NCI Grounds. Under the guidance of qualified youth coaches, participants will learn technical football that focus on skill development.
Furthermore, members of the RSCNPF National Intervention Team, alongside other professionals, will offer invaluable life skills workshops. This initiative aims to create a safe environment where children can learn the fundamentals of football and also experience personal growth and development.

Notably, PM Terrance Drew expressed his heartfelt appreciation for the positive social impact generated by both the National Intervention Team and the SFUFC.
Prime Minister Drew also encouraged the youth to collaborate, treat everyone respectfully, to practice patience, and to be kind and wished the programme every success.
