Keyana Warners named as 2024 Caribbean Junior Minister of Tourism

Keyana Warner of Nevis has won the title of the Caribbean Junior Minister of Tourism. and was awarded the first place at the Caribbean Tourism Organisation's 2024 Regional Tourism Youth Congress.

Nevis: Keyana Warner of the Charlestown Secondary School, Nevis has won the title of the Caribbean Junior Minister of Tourism. The teenager was awarded at the Caribbean Tourism Organisation’s 2024 Regional Tourism Youth Congress in Cayman Islands on Thursday.

The Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports, et al., expressed their proud in congratulating Keyana Warner on her winning the title of the Junior Tourism Minister of the Caribbean.

Significantly, she won the title at the Caribbean Tourism Organization’s 2024 Regional Tourism Youth Congress. The event took place on September 5th, 2024 in the Cayman’s Islands.

The Premier of Nevis, Mark Brantley along with the NIA Cabinet Members extended heartiest congratulations to Keyana for her title win.

The Premier shared a post on his official Facebook and noted that fielding from 13 competitors across the entire Caribbean region, young Ms Warner has made Nevis proud by winning the first place.

He also mentioned that warner is following in the footsteps of Neila Jones and Rol-J Williams who won the regional title in the past.

The Deputy Prime Minister, also responsible for the Ministry of Education, Dr Geoffrey Hanley also took his official Facebook to congratulate Keyana.

He shared the post of the Ministry of Education and stated that they celebrate this proud achievement with their very own Keyana Warner of Charlestown Secondary School, Nevis who was recently named the 2024 Caribbean Junior Minister of Tourism.

Minister of Foreign Affairs, Dr Denzil Douglas also congratulated the winners of the CTO Regional Tourism Youth Congress. He highlighted that St Kitts and Nevis has won the 1st and 3rd place in the event.

He extended wishes to Keyana Warner for her impressive 1st place and also congratulated Khari Gonsalves of Basseterre High School from St Kitts on her remarkable 3rd position.

Additionally, Minister Douglas also congratulated to the Chaperones or Teachers of the winners for their hard work and dedication that resulted in their individual success.
