St Kitts and Nevis: The federation is all set to celebrate its much-awaited Restaurant Week from 11 July to 22 July this year.

St Kitts and Nevis restaurants will prepare special menus based on a local theme ingredient at fixed prices. Papaya has emerged as the theme ingredient for restaurants to cook and serve this year.

Several fruitful events and activities will accompany the Restaurant Week celebration, including Cook, Sip, Glamp, Tasting Showcase, Taste at Twilight, and Grill Fest.

The St Kitts and Nevis organisers announced on their official Facebook page that Papaya has emerged as the themed ingredient for the 2024 Edition of St Kitts and Nevis Restaurant Week.

Notably, the organiser’s official Facebook page’s post said, “ Your voices were heard, and our culinary conversations fuelled the fire of our passion. We’ve been buzzing with excitement, and now it’s official -Papaya will take your taste buds on an extraordinary culinary journey like never before”.

The organisers added, “ Get ready for an explosion of tropical temptations, mouthwatering twists, and stunningly inventive dishes that showcase the sheer awesomeness of this exotic ingredient.

Reportedly, papaya will be the main ingredient to prepare delectable dishes throughout the restaurant week. The restaurant’s menu will be prepared with scrumptious items made out of papaya.

The people of St Kitts and Nevis chose this different ingredient to enjoy the flavour of the most distinctive and appetising dishes.

Furthermore, papaya is locally grown throughout St Kitts and Nevis. This home-grown ingredient will be showcased at numerous events during Restaurant Week.

This restaurant week, which has the theme of papaya, will depict the cuisine and culture of the twin island nation. It is also anticipated that the drooling ingredients will be showcased with delicious cuisine for the visitors to the marvellous restaurant week.

Every year, the island’s finest cuisine is served by dedicated chefs who use the island’s bounty to their advantage. A different local ingredient is featured as the main ingredient.

From the themed ingredients, the chefs and the restaurants craft special menus that are truly exciting to the event. It’s a chance to try extraordinary dishes depicting St Kitts’s natural beauty with the innovativeness of the island’s chefs and restaurants.
