Juliette Jeffers- An Award-winning American- Caribbean Nevisian descent actress, is all set to host the class of ‘A Test of Hollywood’ on March 2nd and 3rd, 2024, at Malcolm Guishard Recreational Park, Pinney’s, Nevis.
The announcement was made by Mark Brantley, the Premier of Nevis, who also holds the responsibility for Foreign Investment and the Film Industry, earlier on Friday via his official social media handle.
While announcing the class and inviting the applicants to attend, he said, “As #Nevis continues to build out its #film industry infrastructure, we are pleased to invite applicants to our FREE Taste of Hollywood Acting Master Class. We thank our own Juliette Jeffers for facilitating. Sign up today as spaces are limited”.
To which Actress Jeffers felt grateful, she said, “It is my absolute honour to facilitate this class. I’m looking forward to it!.”
Actress Juliette Jeffers is also a writer, director, producer, acting coach and educator. She will bring a bunch of experience and encouragement to the students about the world of Hollywood.
Premier Brantley said that this acting class will facilitate and bring advantage to the people who are preparing to join the film industry on the Island or pursue some art form anywhere else in the world.
He further stated that this class is important to let people know about making and leaving films and emphasises developing the skill sets locally among the people.
Reportedly, the class will be open for the learners from 1 PM to 5 PM and will be sponsored by the Four Seasons Resort, Nevis Tourism Authority called Navis Naturally, NCDF, Invest Nevis and many more.
It will be under the Nevis Investment Promotion Agency’s support and accommodate around 30 applicants. These applicants will cover the basics of various skills, such as acting, improvisation, character, scene study, memorisation of camera techniques, etc.
Registration to take part in the class of Hollywood is open, and the interested ones can register themselves between February 5 and 23, 2024, free of cost.
